What are your opening hours?
Harbourside Kids Childcare Centre is open from 7:30 am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday.
Do you have part time options?
The minimum enrolment is 2 days per week. The longer hours give your child more time to engage in our programme and our parents find that the hours make it easier to juggle home life and job commitments. We also offer morning or afternoon sessions; the morning session starts at 7:30 and finishes at 12:00 and the afternoon session runs from 1:00 to 5:30.
Do you close during school holiday?
The Centre is also open during school holidays, but closed on statutory holidays. We are closed over the Christmas and New Year period from 26/12/2016 to 03/01/2017. We reopen 04/01/2017
Do you provide 20 ECE hours for my 3 years old child?
Harbourside Kids Childcare Centre fee structure reflects a commitment to providing quality early childhood education at affordable rate on Auckland’s North Shore. Harbourside Kids Childcare Centre is also delighted to offer “20 Hours ECE” so our parents can access the significant benefits available under the governments “20 hours” scheme.
What paperwork will I need in order to enrol my child in your centre?
We are required by law to sight a copy of the Certificate of Immunisation. Please bring this with you on the first day. Also, a copy of birth certificate or passport is required so that your child can allocate a national student number by the Ministry of Education.
Do you offer any discount if I enrol my two children in your centre?
Yes, we have a great deal for families who enrol more than two children at Harbourside Kids Childcare Centre. Parents will receive 20% off the total bill- so it really makes a difference.
What do I need to bring?
Morning tea, afternoon tea and lunch are to be provided by parents. Please provide healthy, nutritious food for your child and label food containers and drink bottles etc. Parents will need to provide spare clothes that are named, a hat (summer or winter). A change of clothes is also recommended as children tend to get messy when they are exploring! If your child requires any prescription medication, please inform the staff and we will record details of dosage etc.
